Well said... I recently remarked somewhere else on this board that Cannibal Holocaust was the Citizen Kane of Cannibal movies, when in fact it might be better described as the Birth of a Nation of Cannibal movies, because the animal cruelty in the film really prevents the film from being a masterpiece, just like the racism of Griffith's film. This debate will run on and on as long as people watch and puzzle over this film...

Hell Ride is one of the worst i have ever seen makes me angry even thinking about it. I got it for free watched it once and binned it pure rubbish. Even Dennis Hopper could not save it.

HAHA! I had no idea DeamonKnight had posted this prior to me admitting i also passionately dislike the Bill and Ted films/franchise.

*I noticed all of you guys had divided the room by answering two questions so i thought i would too.

i LOVE The Smiths.
Didn't enjoy Deamons 2.

I also think 'The Shinning' is a borefest - it looks stunning as i think all of Kubrick's films do but it makes no sense (especially when you read the book).

I've said it on here many times before, I love the Shining as a film, but as a Stephen King adaption it's one of the worst out there!

The Shining is meh IMHO, like anything with King's name on it, source material or addaptation.

Love me Demons 2 though. Fun but utterly shite.

I think that too EXCEPT for The Shining, which is one of the best horrors ever made because it's only a loose adaptation of King's novel.
