There is a German blu from memory, and it's better than Scream's. As for the UK DVD, be extremely careful, as one is cut, and I know the one in the Carpenter boxset was too.

As for the film, it's an extremely interesting watch. Very heavy on imagery and lore, but light on explanation. Expect to be wierded or freaked out more than scared. But if you don't quite like it, definiteky keep it around for at least a second viewing later. I quite disliked it the first time, but second tim it clicked a bit more.

Worth a blind buy at a good price, give it check out before ordering if you're going for a more dearer edition.

As far as I know there's only one UK release and that's the Momentum disc pictured and it's out of print now. I had that disc before I replaced it with the Scream Factory Blu-ray (which is very nice and well worth getting if you have a region free machine) and I can tell you that it's definitely NOT cut.

From DVD Compare:

CUTS:
R1 Original Release America- Image Entertainment / Universal Pictures - No Cuts (101:30 - NTSC).
R1 Re-Release America- Universal Pictures - No Cuts (101:27 - NTSC).
R1 Scream Factory #34, Collector's Edition America- Shout! Factory - No cuts.
R2 Special Edition France- Studio Canal - No Cuts (97:40 - PAL).
R2 Germany- Kinowelt - No Cuts.
R2 Holland- H.O.M. Vision - No Cuts.
R2 Japan- Pioneer - No Cuts.
R2 Portugal- Universal - No Cuts.
R2 United Kingdom- Momentum Pictures - No Cuts. This version re-instates the cuts that Universal made to their 4-Front video release in 2000.
R4 Australia- Universal Pictures / Studio Canal - No Cuts.

The Universal release fro 2000 was VHS by the way.

In an ideal world every time you click on a dvd / blu in an online shop the dvd comparisons would flash up in a little box beside it.

Has anyone seen Nico Mastorakis' film Nightmare at Noon?

Any good?
