I've only watched one so far, but I enjoyed it A lot of fun, and doesn't bring the seriousness or plot in until the last third. However that could just be the one film.

The packaging however is changed a bit from the initial photos, with the only text on the front being Stray Cat Rock, and the films at the bottom. Logo on the spine is also white instead of black. And very hard to see. The discs are also difficult to remove from the digi pack.

I was wondering if anyone picks up any of the region one releases from Intervision?

Specifically The Sinister Eyes of Dr Orloff. Are they quality releases or vhs rip types?

I'm sure i've seen someone has picked up one or two but i can't recall who it was? Perhaps Keirarts?

The last time I checked out 'Intervision's wares was around the time they were releasing stuff like 'Sledgehammer' and 'Things', which were shitty SOV / super-eight recordings with appropriate PQ. I never picked TSEODO up, but it was from roughly the same era, and I seem to remember a couple of reviews finding it a bit lacking on the AV front (and in overall terms as a film, but it's Franco / horses for courses).
I notice they've reactivated recently to release some Nazisploitation which I don't feel particularly tempted by.

This is partially opinion based this one, but would still very much appreciate help with the decision

I'm looking at the Bloody Friday restoration kickstarter made by the German label Subkulture. It's looking set to go ahead at the moment, and will only be funded if they recieve the amount. I'm a sucker for film restoration, especially exploitation, so I'll definitely do this.

Now the question is the reward. They just gave a special feature announcment for their Don't Go In The House blu ray which interests me greatly, especially considering Scorpion aren't in a hurry to put it out in America. So I'm looking at the $75 category which gets you that and Bloody Friday, plus a restoration credit. But there's also an option for $100, which also adds in Switchblade Sisters.

So my question is, is Switchblade Sisters worth the extra $25, or should I just stick with the $75 pack. The $100 is better value per film, being about $33 instead of $37, but I only want to do it if Switchblade Sisters is worth the extra $25

I quite rate Switchblade Sisters myself, although whether it is worth $25 or not is completely subjective!

Two short questions.

- I know (and like) The Last Horror Film - how's the transfer of the 88 Films release?
- I don't know much about that documentary and I'm too lazy to read through almost 300 replies on the respective thread. My only question would be: is it entertaining?

It is a good documentary, but I prefer Going To Pieces (included with the UK 3 disc Last House on the Left dvd), definitely worth owning though
