It really has nothing to do with the orginal it's not as awful as some people say but it's definitely no classic and it's about as scary as scooby doo. If you can find it cheap , less than £4 I would pick it up, but I would say it's one you would never go back to

He doesn't always write them. Stay away from Messages Deleted.

'Message Deleted', Cellular', 'Phone Booth' and also 'Connected'

Does Larry Cohen have something against telephones?

This is a little off-topic, but it regards purchases from a horror distributor, not a particular film.

I recently ordered a copy of Lord of Tears from Hex Media. They never really made it clear as to whether or not it was pre-order so when I asked for my Tracking No. they informed me it hadn't come out yet through email.

Now it's been several months and they still don't have a release date for their 3-disc edition of this film on their website. What's really frustrating is now that their entire store page has up and vanished from their website. It's like the whole option of buying anything from them has disappeared.

I emailed them twice but they haven't responded.

Basically, don't order anything from Hex Media.

Also, does anyone even know if Lord of Tears is any good? The premise really drew me in...just wish I had the DVD set.

Speaking of the original Salem's Lot, the BD is coming out in Germany on WB and Screen Archives WB in the US.

I'll wait to see if it's actually an improvement on the old 'flipper' DVD before I bite though. IT is also coming out as well but I'll skip that because I re-watched it recently and was bored for the last hour.
