While I've not seen the film, the regular amaray case version is only £9.99 now, so it'd only be worth it if you specifically want a steelbook.

went for reflecting skin and strangely manged to get the steelbook for £13 from thats entertainment store which is strange as it supposed to be a zavvi exclusive also got the deliverance steelbook from them which is another zavvi exclusive for £7.99 when its nearly £25 on zavvi

I really wanted to like this, had high hopes and bought it as soon as it came out on the strength of the trailer. Ohhh, myyyy, Gawwwd!! Was it shit.... that is not a question. One of the worst films, in fact, the worst film I've seen in years. And years. Overblown pretentious twaddle that goes on for 3 hours but feels like a lifetime. I nearly turned it off on many occasions but kept thinking, "No, it might get better..." It doesn't.

I'm sure someone, somewhere will like it.....

It's Hard to Be a God is a peculiar film. I'm not sure whether I enjoyed it, but I admired the direction, set design, and acting. I was engrossed for large periods, but found others quite trying and dull. It is probably something to try before you buy.

I forgot to add that, with all the dirt, mud, and general unpleasantness on screen, it looks absolutely stunning and the cinematography and camerawork is amazing.
