Had a browse on Letterboxd and it's the usual range of shite to pretty good for both films.

I don't have anyone on there i completely trust reviews wise if you get my meaning (aside from the Cult Labbers who never review stuff anyway )
Personally I thought the banana splits movie was terrible..it lacked energy and suffered from the usual modern movie syndrome of unlikable characters, that you could not care less about. Only up side was some good gore scenes and the banana splits themselves. Unfortunately the human cast was a waste of good oxygen, buy if cheap, then sell before cex are overstocked. I really wanted this to be good but I was very disappointed. And your talking to someone who has watched Tobe Hoppers Funhouse twice this week...

Default Deadly Eyes (1982)

I remember seeing this on vhs back in the day,but have not re-visited since. I know its little dogs in furry suits, but does it have that same appeal as say Empire of the ants or food of the gods or dare I say Night of the Lepus..

Only saw it once and that was about two years ago on YouTube, was based on James Herbert's The Rats, anything is better than Empire of the Ants, If you enjoy Food of the gods then go with this in a open mind and not think of the book.

My review of it on Letterboxd may or may not be of any help.

I can't remember.

Is Night Train to Terror a good film?

Not in the slightest.

However, personally I really like it... it has an offbeat charm and is one of those films that stick in your mind for weeks after.

In some ways it is amazing, but not necessarily to anyone of a sane disposition! There is a song featured that is sung by one of the characters who is enjoying a party in a train carriage, and it is so damn catchy!
