An American gray market release from Diamond Entertainment. Both films are of superior quality to the usual 50 / 100 pack movie sets from the likes of Mill Creek.

Thanks mate. Might see if I can track it down. The version I have of Last Man on Earth is 4:3 and letterbox. I had to zoom it right in to watch it by which time it was awful. Sound is quite good though oddly.

Your best bet is the US blu-ray.

No worries. Surprised it hasn't had a decent UK release by now. That said my blu player is being temperamental, maybe time to consider spreading my wings so to speak.

Even if you're not actively importing stuff, I know it's pricey and I'm always reluctant to spend the $$$ to pay for the postage, but not having to worry about 'will it play?' is a nice feeling. I think you can get a Sony model for £140-150.

Is it worth getting the 101Films version of 'Silent Night, Deadly Night part 2', or is it just 90% of (already seen) flashbacks to the first film and 5 minutes of new material?

It's not quite as bad as that. For my money it's a hoot. Though you may violently disagree . Get it when it's cheaper perhaps??
