Has anyone seen the film Yellow Brick Road? The synopsis on Amazon sounds fascinating, but I know nothing of it. Anyone seen it?

Does anyone know if the Warriors on The Walter Hill collection is the original cut or the director's cut with the comic-book inserts etc?

Here's the link:

Looking at the release date (2008) I'd say it was the Director's Cut.

I think the non-DC version was released by Paramount.

Hopefully someone else will be able to give you a more definitive answer, Sam!

I thought so too but looks like it's the original cut according to a review I've tracked down:

Interesting... seems like it isn't the DC after all!

It's a shame that Optimum couldn't have released it as a stand-alone DVD at the same time. I'm still clinging onto the slim hope that the the non-DC version will make it to Blu-ray one day.

Yes, a blu ray of the original cut would be nice - or even better, one edition containing both cuts.

Think I might pick up the collection anyway since I only own the DC and have never seen any of the other films in the set.

I'm afraid I can't answer your question, but thanks for the link as that does look like a great set.

Does anybody own any of the Troma bluray releases? The only ones I know about are Poultrygeist, Nuke 'Em High, Mothers Day and Tromeo and Juliet.

If you do own them, are they region free?
