Frenzy to me is a thriller Hamish,or as you say,giallo......

Harold and Maude is a film I've never been able to take to.

Yep. I even like Futureworld even though it's a bit of a cheesy sequel. :)

Favourite Non-Horror movies of the SEVENTIES

I'm a fan of WESTWORLD
and it deserves a special edition
hopefully a Benjamin/Brolin commentary with the making of featurette which at the moment is stupidly sold seperately
this film is a classic

Favourite Non-Horror movies of the SEVENTIES

I think the Brit thriller THE SQUEEZE is a classic 70's thriller
although my fave Brit thriller is THE LONG GOOD FRIDAY (made in 79 but not released until 81)
THE SQUEEZE and GET CARTER are strong contenders for the best ever made
Guy Richie's and Nick Love's films are crap

Laughably you can also get the bare bones version in a set with Get Carter (Caine) and True Romance for £3.

Sadly Klute has never had a UK dvd release. Can't be bothered ordering it from the States just yet. Steelyard Blues is another i must look out for off the top of my head.
