Wow! Not seen that since around 1982! Didn't even have our first video and saw it at a mate's! I'll definitely be buying that.

It was coming out, but it starved to death in the wilderness on its way to the duplication plant. Some survival that was.

I'm kidding, of course. The film was rescued and is now stable in the hospital. Or so Dr Obrero tells me.

New DVD of Dallamano's VENUS IN FURS out in Italy which, by the looks of it, contains both cuts of the film (one of them has a different ending set in an asylum or something) and is English friendly.

Cinekult in Italy are releasing loads of great stuff at the moment but hardly any of their releases are English friendly. :(

Looks like Raro are re-releasing a lot of their titles to the US market (I wonder if we'll see The Perfume of the Lady in Black and Ruggero Deodato's Waves of Lust?)

I might be tempted to pick up Body Puzzle (although it is pretty damn terrible), as the version I have (Madacy, US) is an awful print.

Talking of awful prints, I actually thought the transfer on MO was pretty decent... :loco: :o

The Deadly Spawn is also getting a (much deserved!) BD release.

PERFUME OF THE LADY IN BLACK was one of their first US releases.

I'm staying away from the Raro DVD's for now after they announced the Di Leo BD's. That may have been a very bad move on their part as I imagine people will be wondering whether they'll announce a BD a few months later.

I guess 'WHITE SLAVE' (aka AMAZONIA: THE CATHERINE MILES STORY) is in the public domain in the US as it seems to have a had a few releases over there.

Re: COONSKIN -- Cliff & Shout Factory were working on that, but there was a hold up along the way. Doubtful that Xenon is legit, but shall wait and see.

If Xenon's release is not legit,I will of course remove it. ;)
Xenon also released the Dolemite's etc...so was thinking it would be legit.

The Shriek Show release is very good quality.

What Mya don't tell you is that their print may well be a little bit shit.

I had the SS release and the Swedish release (which looked gorgeous) and the german dvd. I don't even like the film!

Yeah, there is a big chance the print for PAGANINI could be awful so best to wait for some reviews.

Get the **** outta here! I've been waiting years for this to get a DVD release. Finally! Last time I saw this was circa 1983/4.
