I don't know – I like shoes and have about six pairs. However, I've never considered ownership of shoes to be a life or death situation. I guess that's where I differ from some women (and some men!).

Only three of them are in regular use: a pair of boots, a pair of trainers and a pair of Converse.

But...I think we have taken this thread too far off topic, so let's get back on track Is there such a thing as a perfect film?

I was tempted to say Psycho was a perfect film, but I don't like the ending with the psychiatrist explaining what the audience should have already figured out – that part is just overwritten.

10 perfect movies Rushmore Silence of the Lambs The Innocents Withnail and I Robocop The Asphalt Jungle Halloween Night and the City Hedwig and the Angry Inch Mulholland Drive Key factors in my choices - great dialogue, soundtrack, uniformity of vision, originality, killer performances and endings that stay with you. Probably be a different 10 tomorrow mind you and if so Barry Lyndon would be there on sheer beauty alone, make of that what you will. |
