Trudie: Did you pick a movie?
Sherrie: Yeah, we're gonna go scary... Saw 4.
Trudie: Ugh, I saw that in theaters. It sucks! It's not scary, it's gross... I hate all that torture porn shit.
Sherrie: How do you really feel?
Trudie: [shrugs]
Sherrie: Well, I like Jigsaw. I think he kills people very creatively.
Trudie: But you don't give a shit who dies because there's no character development, it's just body parts ripping and blood spewing, blagh!

So true.

Taggart: I got it! I know how we can run everyone out of Rock Ridge.

Hedley Lamarr: How?

Taggart: We'll kill the first born male child in every household.

Hedley Lamarr: [after some consideration] Too Jewish.

---

Hedley Lamarr: Qualifications?

Applicant: Rape, murder, arson, and rape.

Hedley Lamarr: You said rape twice.

Applicant: I like rape.

---

Taggart: I got it! I got it!

Hedley Lamarr: You do?

Taggart: We'll work up a Number 6 on 'em.

Hedley Lamarr: [frowns] "Number 6"? I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that one.

Taggart: Well, that's where we go a-ridin' into town, a-whompin' and a-whumpin' every livin' thing that moves within an inch of its life. Except the women folks, of course.

Hedley Lamarr: You spare the women?

Taggart: Naw, we rape the shit out of them at the Number Six Dance later on.

Hedley Lamarr: Marvelous!

I was just reminded of my favourite film lines ever by re-watching the movie that they came from:
Quote:
Well, I've wrestled with reality for 35 years, Doctor, and I'm happy to state I finally won out over it.
Quote:
Years ago my mother used to say to me, she'd say, "In this world, Elwood, you must be" - she always called me Elwood - "In this world, Elwood, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant." Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me.
Anyone who didn't guess that these lines were spoken by Elwood P. Dowd (James Stewart) in the great 1950 film "Harvey" should be ashamed of themselves and immediately watch the film to regain that "feel good factor" that goes along with the film!

I think that it must be in the "top..." of almost everyone who has seen it, it is an incredibly effective film. I am glad that you find, as do I, that it is worthy to place in the upper echelons of filmdom because it proves that you are a person of taste and humour. As I keep telling all the others "no, Dem is a fine human being and not a and I don't think he would do that with a baby guinea pig!" See, I'll stick up for you pal.
