As much as I love them I agree, the fifth instalment wrapped things up nicely.

Well... I've just watched Look What's Happened To Rosemary's Baby for the first time and I will not be adding that to my list of pleasures. - in terms of watch-ability and endurance, I think Rosemary's baby is slightly dated but still an exceptional piece of cinema. I'm glad I've seen the sequel but it falls way short of the original in every way.

Sometimes, not often, I see a classic movie and think a remake could be beneficial in delivering a good story to the masses and even updating relevant topics... I'm trying to Keep an open mind about the Carrie (2013 Version - not the made for TV 2002 Version) Remake for example. - but I think timeless pieces like Rosemary's Baby and The Exorcist original should really be left where they are tho.

Yeah i Agree, and it's supposed to be more faithful to the novel than the De Palma version, which is great... the trailer even looks good, just not too sure about Chloe in the role...

I'll always love the original tho... defo in my top 10 movies.

Another vote for Halloween 3 thought it was excellent , really captures a dark side of seasonal fun...usually watch it every year religiously.

I like Ringu 2 also , its totally bonkers and incomprehensible but has some of the best scare scenes out of the trilogy.

Halloween III-Third best film in the entire series.

URBAN LEGENDS 2-I rather enjoyed that!

I still haven't managed to see any in the Ringu series yet I'd like to check them out tho, the two Americanized movies were OK, (probably because i ain't seen the originals!!).

I Still know what you did last summer WAS really good, and i loved the new plot location etc, unfortunately, Brandy can't fill the shoes of Sarah Michelle Gellar from the previous film, still a lot of fun tho, and yeah i think i probably watch it more than the original.

Urban Legends 2 is definitely watchable, think i still prefer the first one, but the second is not as serious and more playful.

i watched May (2002, Angela Bettis) the other night, i know that's got nothing to do with anything, but i thought it was a very underexposed and underrated movie... quite a good build up, but i barely ever hear it mentioned)

While I doubt I'll watch either film ever again, the sequel wins for one reason and one reason only...
