The last I heard (I'm pretty sure the 88 Films guy mentioned it in a random topic on here) it was just a matter of negotiating with Synapse to use their transfer. I get the feeling they wanted a little more than 88 Films wanted to pay, so they were still gauging interest, which I assume is why it's up for pre-order at most places. It's been a while since he posted that, so it would be interesting to know what the situation is now.
