Love the posters Dem! Have you got them framed? MADHOUSE was a super film, and I think often overlooked non-compendium Amicus production along with ...AND NOW THE SCREAMING STARTS

Hamish, I agree KWAIDAN is a masterpiece of world cinema

Certainly have, none are on the wall at the moment though. Opera is the only one on display.

You're right it is Whitman in the relevant role alongside a young Lesley (Emmerdale) Dunlop and Patrick Magee and this segment of TMC is indeed an entertaining and unsettling tale.

Isn't the 'whistler' actually called a 'Shadmock' in the relevant tale? Don't try and steal from this guy!

Also, both TMC and Screamtime both have something in common in that they both boast female Emmerdale cast members. The former features the aforementioned Lesley Dunlop whereas the latter stars attractive redhead Kim Thomson.

Screamtime is also worthy of note for an appearance by the guy who was a rapist threatening a woman in an elevator in the opening moments of Bill Lustig's enjoyable Vigilante.

One of my dreams is to see an Amicus boxset containing all of their portmanteaus. I live in hope!

Went for Creepshow, but that would be tied with Chillerama, which is not on the list
