Santa Sangre - Blu Ray review

Good to have one of my fave films out on Blu in this country, just a shame they couldn't get the new features from the R1 release. If you've never seen this, do yourself a favour and pick it up, it's only £10 on Amazon.

Great film but I don't have the blu-ray, I have that recently released 2disc DVD.

He transfer on the UK blu-ray is much truer to the film's original look: really nice colours. The US blu-ray has an unnatural milky look.

I don't think it's that much of a step-up - I actually had to turn the colour up as it looked a little washed out - there's no new features, but I've had my DVD copy since 2005 so needed a new one, and the picture is definitely alot sharper.

Oh really? I presumed it would have the same incorrect black level and framing as the US, now I'm intrigued.
