Death Note and The Mist (TV Series) are both live from today. I'm planning to give both of them a go.

Slightly related but Allied is the Sky Movies premiere today, been looking forward to watching that one.

I've watched a series or two of Death Note anime and thought The Mist was a brilliant film, so also look forward to watching those.

I was a bit underwhelmed by Allied at the cinema because it was a bit flat and didn't have the tension or chemistry between the leads it required. I hope you like it more than I did.

I watched the first episode of Black Mirror last night – the 'Pig' one – and thought it was compelling, disturbing and I'm definitely going to watch more later on today.

One of my favourites, did you ever see 2015 wipe when brooker mentions it in relation to Cameron and the pigs head.

I don't think I saw that program, but I know the episode was mentioned all over Twitter and (I think) even some news broadcasts because of the uncanny similarity between life and art.
