Aptly Themed Double Features

SCM Gave us this...

Quote:

Watched Antz last night and currently watching Them!
AND I thought "Mmm, that's a good idea, a themed double feature."

Let me make it clear though, sequels and remakes don't count! SCM's Ant-ilicious theme is great as would be "Steamboat Willy" and "Ben", "Escape from the Planet of the Apes" and "Monkeyshines" but not "Nightmare on Elm Street" #1-37, that's just OCD. And don't think that you can get away with a link around a single character, story or actor, be inventive like our good friend SCM was - "ants" what a theme!

Watch 2 or more thematically linked flicks and give us a report as to how it worked out for you!

I'm off to think of a theme for my evenings viewing now.

Happy linking!:woot:

I think I might be watching Arachnid tonight, so I'll watch The Amazing Spiderman afterwards

I'm a failure, I realise this but when all I have to do is watch two films and tell people "this was a) good, b) bad or c) the idea of a fat, bad-speakin' Northerner and all I actually do is watch the featurettes on the "Sinbad" dvd... Oy, oy, oy!
Not a total washout though, the Ray Harryhausen feature, may his name always be revered, narrated by Leo Nard Nee Moy, the ACT or, was well worth being sidetracked by and well worth the £1.99 that I paid in the charity shop. RE-EE-EE-SULT!

It's a Wonderful Life and The Butterfly Effect.

In both films the central protagonist, at some point in the film, concludes that the world be a better place if they had never existed.
