Planet Film productions UK 3 Attachment(s) The old Planet Film Production mob eh? A very short lived British company who distributed more films than they actually produced! However small, they still attracted some of the finest actors and directors who worked in horror films back then. Any fans of these cheapo sci-fi/horror hybrids? What do you like about them? Which versions/releases do you own? Where did you first see them? And,finally which one is you favourite? Check out the DD DVD's or the German discs for Island and the NOTBH! |
Remembered Island Of Terror as scary as f from childhood, watched few years back....erm, ach it still has Cushing haha. you may be not surprised that NOTBH is my favourite....and yes Reaper, I have the German DVD (a xmas present....amazing what you get when you drop hints all year hahhaaa ahem) |
I have the DD release of NIGHT OF THE BIG HEAT, the German release of ISLAND OF TERROR due to the DD version losing the blood spurt from Peter Cushing's hand-severing & three versions of DEVILS OF DARKNESS (For reasons shown below): The E.M.S release The Odeon release The MGM release with the excellent WITCHCRAFT All the releases are missing bits & pieces but the ODEON version has the longest snake dancing scene in the film itself (The original BBFC cut) REWIND INFO ON ALL THREE VERSIONS: http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparison....php?fid=14321 |
