With Cold Prey, Norway finally entered the dark realm of horror cinema - about time too! Since then, the country has created some fantastic new additions to the genre that all horrorhounds should track down.

So how many have you seen?

I've only seen Dead Snow, which is one of my favourite Horrors from the last few years

Rare Exports is good.

Another really good Finnish movie is Paha Maa aka Frozen Land, not horror per se but pretty grim, bleak and violent.

Set in 1974, i really liked Manhunt (2008). A cool backwoods slasher, Norwegian style.

However Dead Snow and Cold Prey are top class horror films no matter where they come from.

Really like Cold Prey, a great modern slasher. The sequel I quickly got bored by, and didn't bother with part three. Didn't like Dead Snow - found the setup way too slow (where are these bloody zombie Nazi's???!) and clunkily executed (lame movie chatter between the characters). Troll Hunter was damn good fun, but the best Nordic horror is clearly Let the Right One In :nod: . . .

Well it would be if it wasn't Swedish. :tongue1:

Last time I checked, Nordic = Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, and their associated territories :tongue1: . . .
