Unbelievable.
The Hollywood 'auteurs' need a hot cattle prod up their arses.
They're a joke.

Black Hole was not a very sucessful film on release, could look good with some sweet special effect like Pandorum.

Flash Gordon
, all ive got to say is bring it hollywood, you ****ed up with the tv show.

Fright Night
: WTF!!!!!!! leave alone

Gremlins: again no need to remake this.

Highlander: could have potential but under Fast and Furious director Justin Lin i think this will suck

The Howling
: no way

Videodrome & The Brood
: Cronenburg should sue....
My thoughts exactly. Plus, did you read what it says about Videodrome? - it's being penned by the same douche who's doing Transformers 3!!

I have to admit that the word 'remake' usually strikes fear into my heart.. classic old films which are cult mostly due to the time they were made losing their original style and class through hollywood having to tick all the wrong boxes and get the new versions made.. As has already been said, I believe it's a complete lack of ideas that has spawned this trend.

In my opinion, with maybe a few exceptions, they are a bigger waste of celluloid than Jordan..

Aparently about 80% of the dialogue in the Wickerman Remake was exactly the same as the Vastly Superior Original.

What is the Point as ithas already been ****ed up by the Argentines as Sangre frÃ*a which is a Mini Series

Also some reviewer on IMDB said that this (the Original) is a film that hollywood could never dare make.

Also i think that hollywood has lost touch with reality and that they think US citizens are too lazy to read so they will eat up these remakes (of Foreign films) when 99 times out of 10 the remakes are utter crap
