I watched A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET the remake yesterday, it wasn't too bad but obviously the original is miles better.

It was weird - i'll give it that and the kill at the end was awesome

I think that all of those pretty rubbish to absolutely dire apart from Dawn of the Dead and The Hills Have Eyes which aren't elligent as the original but does benefit from the CGI effects on the zombies and mutated respectfully.

Why wasn't The Thing on the list as that was a remake of The Thing from Another World?

i prefer some of the remakes
these are the ones i think are better then the original

rob zombies halloween
the hills have eyes

i think that these where good but not as good as the originals

texas chainsaw massacre
dawn of the dead
friday the 13th
the ring
the amityville horror
black christmas

theres only one i can think of thats nowhere near as good as the original and that is nightmare on elm street

thats all i can think of at the moment

Just been reading the poll results.

You like The Fog remake.?

Go and stare at a blank wall for an hour then watch Carpenter's gorgeous, magnificent original masterpiece.

Then come back and tell us the remake is good.
