I agree with Dem BoF that set sounds great. I assume its expensive now if its still available.

The 4 disc set was an HMV exclusive. The rest of the 25 Years Later sets were 2 disc.

I was wondering why it wasn't listed on Amazon. |

I'm really looking forward to checking out the new Cundey-approved transfer. According to him (someone linked an interview on Blu-ray.com), this is the closest it's ever been to looking just like the original '78 release.

Well I have the four disc-er buts its not definitive The transfer on the actual film is not as good as the 25th anniversary edition, which looks superb. It also doesn't have the audio commentary from that release. They kept the second disc from the 25th anniversary but used the older release for the first disc. There's also the double disc release that contains the alternate TV cut, with some violence and nudity removed and extra scenes incorporated that ties the film closer to the second. The blu-ray already out looks decent but it's not restored, it feels like the older release of the film. This new Steely should as was pointed out above, include a brand new Dean Cundy approved transfer and having seen the Cundy approved FOG Blu-ray well i'm really looking forward to this one! Still going to keep my DVD releases however...

From what I've heard the colour timing issues have been fixed on this one and the transfer has been updated. It's a steelbook, I'm a geek... it shall be mine!
