Default Killer Scarecrows!

Hi all,

Scarecrows are pretty creepy...even when they're not killing people. But I'm really suprised at the lack of movies about Killer Scarecrows. The idea is so cool - supernatural scarecrows coming back to life for some reason, killing and stuffing their victims with straw. Scarecrows can't be killed - cut off any body part and it'll either fix itself, restuff itself or that severed part will come after you too! Their only weakness is fire!

Besides Dark Night Of The Scarecrow (a rather obscure made for TV horror movie) and the almost unheard of film, Scarecrows from '88, those are about the only 2 scarecrow films of any note. The others - the small handful that there are - are apparently not very good at all.

Have you seen any Killer Scarecrow movies? Any you would recommend?

Would you like to see some more or is it just me?!

Quite a fan of the 1995 movie Night of the scarecrow directed by Jeff Burr.
I first watched it when it was released on laserdisc but now it is available on Bluray and dvd in the US from Olive films.
