That's a good list and I think all bar Friday the 13th, a film I saw quite recently, will be contenders for my viewing next month.
Trying to think of more childhood favourites to watch. Watched Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream etc recently so they've been done.

Anyway we're for watching the following mainstream classics;

Halloween
Hellraiser
Friday The 13th
Candyman
Rosemary's Baby
My Bloody Valentine
One film a day isn't asking a lot. I'm sure you do it anyway.

So yeah, I cannot praise this enough. Sure when it was was originally broadcasted I was only 4 months old, but it is such a fascinating piece of horror drama that still stands strong. Oren Peli can suck it.
Anyway I'm not going to go into the plot a lot (presumably most members have seen it - on the original night of broadcast). But essentially its a crew head to a house to investigate paranormal happenings.
The fact that that the BBC banned it kinda shows how effective it was with the public - my mum and dad found it to be a giant pile of shit but ah well.
And that's how you start a horror marathon. Something great before it all falls apart.

A classic nothing an be said that hasn't been said before. 10/10

A few scenes of horror but James Cameron's film is a different beast to Scotts original , this is a none stop action packed rollercoaster ride with Ripley as a action heroine that makes Arnie, Sly etc look like a bunch of pussys. 9.5/10

Now watching.
