Yeah, the sexual tension between Louis and Lestat is about as subtle as a brick.

Anthony Hopkins plays a magician who is laughed of stage ,a year later he comes back and is a huge hit with his new act that includes a ventriloquist dummy called fats. He goes off to to see a old crush he had when he was a kid and too escape his manager . As time goes on Corky (Hopkins) begins acting strangely and kills his manager , he slowly begins a decent into madness as the film goes on its left up too the viewer to decide if he is using the dummy to project his desires and what he is unwilling to do or is the dummy alive in some way? A fantastic piece of acting from Hopkins and expertly directed Richard Attenborough. Not partially scary but very chilling and atmospheric. 9/10 Was thinking of watching leatherface tomorrow. Unlike the Godawful Deliver us from Evil and Woman in Black Angel of Death which people have watched today.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 1974 is another historic film. Like Last House on the Left, its shot in a documentaryesque (if that's even a word) fashion, which helps give it a more effective look. This is a violent film, but you actually don't see that much blood. Like Halloween, Leatherface kills people but in very well directed scenes. Every kill in this movie is memorable. In fact the psycho family are also a memorable thing here. Leatherface may be the front man but this isn't just about him. Nubbins/Hitchhiker is a demented man, who despite not being in the film to long, has such memorable scenes in the van and later on at the end that he leaves an impression. The Cook/Drayton is very weird. In some scenes he seems repulsed at what he and the family are doing to Sally at the dinner table then in others, he seems to do a double take and likes it. Truly horrible. Its not my favourite but I hold it in high regard. I think I might "enjoy" others in the franchise more but I obviously concede that this is unquestionably the best made and directed film in the whole franchise. 8/10 |

Horns 2013. After the murder of his girlfriend, Ig developes horns and uses his new found gift to unlock everyone's secret and looks for the killer. This has it all, mild horror, crime, mystery, Sex and comedy, this is the first time I have seen this film all the way through and it was great, may not be for everyone but worth a look. Daniel Radcliffe plays Ig, he was great in this especially with a American accent, it can be seen like the seven deadly Sins added extra, who said confession was never good for the soul. 8 out of 10

Try telling that to my other half, she thinks it's the best movie made since The Haunting 1999 version
