Twelve solid years of tricks and treats and still Michael Dougherty's film remains as good as ever. Perhaps the finest portmanteau horror ever made, the different story strands blend seamlessly and with each viewing a different segment becomes my favourite. This time it was the werewolves.

A genuine Halloween treat.

It really is an ageless film so damn good everytime.

Candyman
A student is writing a thesis on an urban legend, through her investigations she discovers that the most recent case was in the projects. Unwittingly she doesn't believe in Candyman who is forced to appear.
The last film of this years October Marathon for me and I'm ending on a high note. I watched this for the first time when I was 4 or 5 years old and it scared the shit out of me, the last time I seen it was 10 years ago and it still sticks with me.
