I have to say although I do enjoy old sleazy films it isn't exactly important, it doesn't excite me nor does it offend me although I find in modern horror it seems to be unnecessarily added and in a way that makes it degrading, I loathe modern torture porn style horror. You don't see much dick but I understand why so it isn't about seeing each sexes genitalia in equal measure. I do also like 70s sex comedies which can be viewed as sexist, if the films were done today I would be offended. I'd still also consider myself a feminist even with my taste in film. For me it's really about context, is it necessary? That is always going to be a matter of opinion. It's easier to tell when things are unnecessary. So is it important to me? No, but I don't get offended or excited, apart from when I watch 11 days, 11 nights.

It's not necessary but is good to have some nice stunning women running around. It is a plus if they also can act and have strong character/personalities.

Nah, not bothered. I mean, DarkAngel has a point in that it's nice to have someone attractive in the cast, but at the end of the day I'm not really watching a horror movie for that sort of thing.
