We asked Ruggero about his older films and he isn't sure who holds the UK rights for this, unfortunately.

And any chance of some Joe D'Amato from you guys? I'm not sure if Antropophagus will pass uncut, maybe Absurd? Any chance at all?

Have you guys (88 Films) contacted Lovelockandload.net, Shock Till You Drop, DVD Active, Digital Fix, Starburst, SFX and maybe even Arrow Films about running a story on the campaign or posting on their facebook pages? From Arrows point of view their helping out another small UK label so shouldn't be a problem really especially as they had no plans to release it.

There is no harm in you having a go at contacting some of these folks. Every little helps. I asked Matt Budrewicz (@mattybudrewicz) nicly if he would do an article as he is a (great) writer for ScreamHorrorMag.com You can read the article here: 88 Films Remaster Zombi Holocaust IndieGoGo Campaign - THE HORROR ENTERTAINMENT MAGAZINE

I'm not sure if 88Films know i did that for them but ultimatly i don;t want praise, i want that HD Restoration and 88Films need help getting coverage as they are quite small.

I also wanted to ask Arrow to spread the word but i wasn;t sure if it would be considered crass as both of these are indie lables. If you know of a forum or company just drop them a line and they might pick up the story.

Let's make this happen Labbers.

I really hope Zombi Holocaust gets the go ahead. It's one of my favourite Italian splatterfests, and to see it released remastered from the original camera negative on to Blu-ray would be bloody great!

It's really easy mate i will help.... (i feel a bit like fagan, Haha!)

Go to this link and read the pledges and find one you like -

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/r...tive/x/6220888

In the higher perks you can get your name ON the actual credits of the film!! if i were a single man with no rent to pay i would have had my name on this movie!

anyway once you pick your pledge you sign up OR sign in and agree to pay the amount (select your pledge) and then pay via paypal or card mate and Bam! you have a copy of the film AND lots of other cool shit! Then we are ALL that little bit closer to getting this HD beauty on Blu-Ray!

Well I've emailed Starburst, DVD Active, The Digital Fix, Games Radar / SFX and Shock Till You Drop. We'll see if any of them are interested.
