Killer Clowns

Have you guys heard the news about the new movie remake of IT? Pennywise has been cast and he couldn't be more different than Tim Curry's iconic version!

It was recently announced the Will Poulter will be playing the most famous of all killer movie clowns. He's probably best known for The Maze Runner, but he was also one of the kids on the TV show School Of Comedy.

So, what do you think of this? Personally, there was a lot of 'anger' from fans about Elijah Wood starring in the Maniac role but he was incredible in that and gave a whole new take on the film, rather than just rehashing the classic.

What do you think? If you could cast ANY STAR (dead or alive) who would you choose to play Pennywise?

I think he's a talented actor (great in the Maze Runner), but will he be any good as Pennywise? I've no idea, I know that I was annoyed at the casting of Heath Ledger as the Joker in The Dark Knight and look how that turned out, so I could be surprised at this casting choice.
And, yeah Frodo as a deranged serial killer sounded like the worst casting news ever, another assumption that was unjustified seeing as he pulled it off big time in Maniac.

He won't beat Tim Curry's performance though

I would cast Sean Penn.
