Thank you!

I've found a few pages via FB with people selling some of their older stuff/whole collections - is there anything like that here? I don't have a lot I'd be looking to trade (or that most I'd imagine here don't already have haha!)

It's also clear when looking at the other titles that particular site is selling.

I've removed your link as we don't promote that kind of filth here!
OK

No worries

Didn't realise it was a dodgy thing

Apologies to all concerned

Was hoping that 88 Films would release Absurd. Hopefully the sales of Anthropophagus will force their hand. Horrible is a French release I'm sure.....

UPDATE: I've found a seller of The House By The Cemetery, and he has two versions of the film and wants to know which I'd prefer - Anchor Bay or Blue Underground - I trust you guys to steer me the right way as I've no idea on which is the better of the two! (From what I've read it's the features that are different?)

As far as I am aware they are identical. When William Lustig (the founder of Blue Underground) left Anchor Bay to start his own company he gained a few of their more interesting film rights and re-issued his own versions later on once the Anchor Bay versions (who themselves were starting to steer away from more cult fare) went OOP.

Please note though that BU have since re-issued THBTC to coincide with their Blu release back in 2011. As well as having (imo) better cover art it also has more extras and the Italian mono track which the previous two releases did not have.

Original releases (ABUS & BU):

New (2011) BU release:

This site is also pretty good for comparing releases from different territories: Rewind @ www.dvdcompare.net - House By The Cemetery AKA Quella Villa Accanto Al Cimitero AKA The House Outside the Cemetery AKA Zombie Hell House (1981).

It should also hopefully help you a great deal in your nasties search as it lists all cuts applied to the various releases too.

I'm still waiting for the directors cut of The House by the Cemetery.

The version that cuts out all footage of Bob.

Even just re dub his voice even if they used Joe Pasquale it would be an improvement
