The Leprechaun Films

Happy St Partrick's Day everyone!

What better time to celebrate one of cinema's 'greatest' leprechauns?!

So, here's a thread dedicated to that cult horror series. How many have you seen? Which are you favourites?

Share your thoughts below and don't be stealin' me gold!

I have the first one and "In 'da hood" for my sins. The latter is a trash classic, IMO.

They sure are pure trash - in the best sense, Mr 420!

I haven't seen these films in ages - definetly need to re-visit them soon. Anyone seen the Origins movie? I didn't even know it had been released yet!

IIRC, the first one stars a pre-Friends Jennifer Anniston looking rather cute.

I have not seen a single Leprechaun film.

I like all of them!

Back to the hood is actually a surprisingly well made film and much better than in da hood. 3 & 4 are ably directed by Brian Trenchard-smith. 2 is a great example of one of the better direct to video horror titles that appeared in the 90's and the first one is lots of fun. The remake is fairly pointless.

You do realise that you've said that on St Nordi's Day? That scratching at your back door is none other than an army of the little devils, come to give you a shamrock shake! :)
