Has anyone checked out this new monster trailer yet??

Has anyone checked out the new Owlman movie trailer that's been going around online? It looks pretty cool and stars Macarena Gomez. I totally loved her in Dagon and Shrew's Nest. They even have Nicholas Vince who was in Hellraiser and Nightbreed!

The trailer is on Kickstarter at the moment and the movie is called The Black Gloves

Thanks bleakshaun. Film makers are always changing film titles don't know why though.

It is probably more likely to be studios marketing departments who change titles to make them easier to distribute, or more profitable. It could also be that a screenplay has a title which a director really doesn't like and changes as the film is made and changes from the original screenplay, then changes again as the studio goes through the distribution procedure.

no problem. the title was always lord of tears but when it was released by 88 films the title was changed. it was kinda the same with Sawney: Flesh of Man was renamed in the USA as Lord of Darkness

A couple of examples which come to mind are Legion being changed to The Exorcist III to pick up on the success of William Friedkin's film and Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle changing to Harold & Kumar Get the Munchies because (I think) there aren't any White Castle restaurant outside of North America.
