Kim Newman hint

didn't know where to put this, but here looks as good as any place

this was his post:
"I'm doing Blu-ray notes for a British film long thought lost. Expect an announcement soon. Fills a gap in the filmography of a major monster."

But this is not a film that is officially considered "lost" (like quite a few Lon Chaney films), is it?

Admittedly, there is no high quality version available.

I quite enjoy Kim Newman. A really interesting critic.

I hope it's that, my DVD is crap!

Rob4 1st July 2017 09:30 AM

it looks like the most likely suggestion is the Hammer Jekyll and Hyde comedy The Ugly Duckling

From what I know about that film, I'm not bothered for it, I've not heard a single good thing about it over the years

I once met Kim Newman and was very impressed with the fellow. He's very personable.
