Was the movie The Descent meant to have a different ending with the main character loosing her mind and it was her that killed her friends??

Funnily enough, I was thinking about the earlier and forgot to add it to my list – I was just about to edit it to include Planet of the Apes and Scream.

I was also thinking of Tenebrae – that has a twist ending, right?

There are two different endings: the US one where Sarah escapes the tunnel system and drives to freedom and the UK ending where that was a dream and Sarah is still in the caves, hallucinating her daughter is in front of her holding birthday cake.

Yeah it does as there was two killers and Peter Neal being the main culprit, well spotted Nos, mind you Dario does try to include a twist in his movies but Tenebre does have a memorable twist.

Just remembered The Descent Part 2 had a crazy ending with the old guy Ed being somewhat of a protector for the crawlers and whacking the girl with the spade, that one was a added little extra.

I thought Us was great, a brilliantly made and thought provoking film. I've only seen it once and it's long overdue a rewatch. I don't think it's as strong as Get Out, though that opinion might change with time and multiple viewings.

Who else was left devastated by this gut punch of a twist ending?

A film that was to be i thought a happy ending turned into a squeal, that was something i didn't see happening.

What about this one?
