Or even the immortal Devil Dog: Hound Of Hell?

We also had Bug and the excellent Kingdom Of The Spiders.

TV provided us with a few naturistic nasties too. We had killer bees in The Savage Bees, Terror Out Of The Sky and Killer Bees, angry ants in It Happened At Lakewood Manor (Panic At Lakewood Manor) and spiders in Tarantulas: The Deadly Cargo.

OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN was a decent little film that not alot of people know about. Is there any other of these films that you can think of that you think most people don't know about?

Agreed. I read the original novel first 'The Visitor' (brilliant book, with an 'opening of a kitchen drawer' ending that sent a shiver up my spine) before discovering a movie had been made. It was another big-case video sell-thru purchase from HMV in Oxford Street. Believe it was 'Robocop Weller' in the title role?
I think it had a bare-bones release on R2 dvd a few years back. Worth checking out if you haven't seen it, though I'd recommend the book over the movie (think James Herbert's 'The Rats', only with one rat).

Fred olen rays glass trap, giant killer ants is good for a laugh(like most of freds movies),killer rats is also pretty good.
I went through a wee spell of buying loads of this stuff a while back, most of it was pretty crap, but there was a fair few good uns.

Komodo vs cobra, crap cgi giant snake and lizard wrestling match, quite funny.
Bite me,giant mutant spiders run riot in a strip joint.

Most of the maneater series of flicks are pretty poor.Watched shark swarm last week, and it was boring stuff. Also grizzly rage, hybrid, eye of the beast are best avoided as nowt much happens, although the recent release of sea beast looks pretty good.

So,anyone know if we are gonna get a dvd release of the rats?(or the deadly daschunds.)

Not to worry Loops.
So what killer animal flicks you dig?

Humanoids from the Deep is one of the best horrors of the eighties.Superb.
Also,Razorback is one of my faves, the cinematography is absolutely stunning.
I agree with the above that Of Unknown Origin does deserve better recognition.
Warner should have used the old VHS art with the rat on the naked chick's arse.
An eye-catching cover if ever there was one,and would have no doubt aided sales significantly....
