Today in Zombie News

- Online store sells miniature wooden zombie figures. Check these flesh-eating babies out; they're brilliant! It's an American company however, so shipping will probably be quite expensive.

An image from the upcoming Resident Evil film has been released:

Doesn't look too bad from that pic. Shame the trailer looks crap.

I think I've just found the coolest energy drink ever:

That's great Spooks! The design of the bottle is inventive too - I wonder what it tastes like. There's another drink (not sure if I mentioned it before - most likely have ) called Screaming Zombie Energy Drink - but like the one you found, they're not available in the UK! You could join their facebook page and ask them to sell it here - that's what I've done anywhos

Has anyone caught Special Dead? It's a low-budget gem about a special needs camp where the water gets infected with the zombie virus. There's a zombie with tourette's syndrome and everything. It's hilarious, unless you're sensitive to the mentally handicapped. And if you haven't read World War Z yet, you might want to get on it before the movie comes out. Excellent read.

Special Dead? Oooh that's sounds VERY un-PC! Excellent! I'll have to check that out. It reminds me of another film (could be the same?) called Retardead. There's a whole new zombie sub-genre. Nazi zombies. Chicken zombies. Disabled zombies!

World War Z is INCREDIBLE! Hopefully the film will live up to it.

How the hell did I miss this news?!

The original Dawn Of The Dead has been dimensionalized into 3D! That's right! AND it may be getting a theatrical realease - most likely just in America though, but who knows!

Here's a link - http://www.firstshowing.net/2008/05/...ing-3d-revamp/

I had to look into this more, due to the link having the nonexistant word "realistical" in it. I haven't heard about this either and I'm 30 minutes away from the Monroeville mall(where it was filmed). Dawn of the Dead is huge around here so I should've heard something. Everything I found was from 2 years ago. No updates. I need to know what's going on here, I need to see 3D zombies!

Wait! You live 30 minutes away from the Monroeville mall?!! That's zombie heaven! I envy you!!!!!!!!

To see this in 3D would be incredible indeed. Have you seen The Night Of The Living Dead 3D remake DM? That's terrible but fun at the same time (the 3D actually worked for me! - makes a bloody change)

Speaking of 3D zombies, I know Day Of The Dead is getting a 3D remake too. And I believe Night Of The Living Dead was recently animated too - but I may be mistaken with that one.

Night of the Living Dead: Origins - I think it is a animated prequel of sorts to Night of the Living Dead. It has Joe Pilato voicing Cooper, Danielle Harris as Barbara, Tony Todd as Ben and Bill Moseley.

If I'm right it tells the tale of how each of the characters get to the farmhouse.
