Gary Oldman gave a very credible performance in the 1992 version, and Lugosi was a master of the cape and fangs combo, but my choice would have to be... Christopher Lee ... but, Max Schreck was the best Nosferatu! |

Christopher Lee in Hammer's original Dracula. As much as I like Lugosi however he comes a close 3rd after Louis Jourdan. John Forbes Robertson was abysmal in 7 Golden Vampires. |

Yep,I agree there Lee for me as well, though Oldman was a very convincing and devious count. Max Schreck has got nowt on Reggie Nalder mate....

I remember a breakfast cereal called Count Chocula from when I lived in America in the late 80's. There was also something called FrankenBerry which was equally ghastly. |

I like the film, but I always felt it would have been better if they had a classy Dracula rather than the cardboard cut out they employed.

I love LOT7GV but Drac was a non-neccessity. Another cracking Cushing performance. The whole film is CLASS!

Apparently Lee was offered the role but was busy trying to kill James Bond instead. |
