It doesn't make either of your top tens.
It's a list based on how much you like the films, not how good they are!

Caligari is a great film.

Surely both go hand in hand. You must think a film is good to like it.

Not necessarily. I like some bad films, such as Plan 9 From Outer Space, and I wouldn't say some great films (Tokyo Story, for example) are among my favourites.

Edit: the "and me" is in reply to Nos, I've seen this numerous times, Dem should hang his head in shame and go watch an Adamson film as punishment!
No he should only watch an Adamson film as a treat for when he does watch Caligari,im sure it will be an incentive, always use a carrot never the stick.

Nice list, Buboven.

I'm ashamed to say that I've yet to see the '32 version of Jekyll and Hyde. Something I hope to rectify in the near future.

Does this mean we can expect an all Al Top 10 from you then, Ron?

Just quoting my 2013 self here, but I've actually nearly completed the above fabled 666 list, which is what got me thinking about this thread and the idea of doing a collaborative member list for Halloween.

I'm hoping to have my 666 list up on Letterboxd by the weekend so will no doubt post a link here when I do, and cut a chunk off the top for this thread here.

I noticed Buboven had a place for Near Dark in his top 50.

No room for The Lost Boys though.
