I consider them all enjoyable in their own way, but it's hard to say from a recommendation point of view really... plus, with the amount of low budget cheapie horror you watch my dear Dem, you may certainly find a lot to enjoy in there that many others won't!

EDIT: Have you ever seen Brain Damage or Frankenhooker? Chances are you'll probably like Basket Case if you like these.
Oddly yes, i like Henenlotter's work just never seen Basket Case. Bad Biology is my fave of his... so far.

No sorry - just takes me to an Amazon error page.

I'm almost certain you'll get some enjoyment out of the Basket Case Films in that case. Although, I personally consider Bad Biology his worst film so far (however I do quite like it).

Me too. Looking at your link it includes a 'Cult Labs' tag for some reason, Nos.

Dear God!

The House with Laughing Windows at 401.

I happen to think it's a nice suspenseful little number. You know I'm a bit of a sucker for gialli though (amongst other things) so I'm sure my bias can be forgiven in this case.

My favourite Frank Henenlotter film is Basket Case, followed by Frankenhooker and probably Brain Damage. I didn't really care for Bad Biology when I saw it last, but that was several years ago so it is undoubtedly due a re-watch.

Basket Case and Brain Damage are very close in respect to being my fave Henenlotter film. Basket Case just edges it though.

Even though I have review discs and reviewed it at the time, I forgot it was released by Tartan!

It still annoys me that number 536 - Deadly Strangers doesn't have a dvd release yet.

Interesting list, Sharon, without most of the 'usual suspects'.
