Shouldn't come as too much of a surprise really.

Only redemption related DVDs I got were the ones they leased to Dutch company Encore - they did their releases in the correct fashion. Unlike Redemption, who after years of feedback refused to bat an eyelid.

No it doesn't but it is still sad to see a distributor go tits up. Their first dvds did leave a lot to be desired but they did improve slighly. They were at their best during the 90's.


Their rubbish cover art probably had a bad effect on sales.

I heard their presentations varied also, did you mention one film missing subtitles?

Yes, The Demons; several minutes of dialog are in french without subtitles!

Always sad to see an indie label got down the swany,but yeah,Phill has got a point.
Better snap up those missing titles before the prices ROCKET!

I remember Marc Morris saying that he'd told Nigel Wingrove about those awful covers,but to no avail.....

The r1 reissues artwork did improve slightly though....

A few of their films have been given away free with DVD World with new artwork by Rick who does the arrow covers and they look much, much better.

Some of the Redemption catalogue contained great films,but those covers always put people off.....

Some of those films have cracking original artwork.

Their goth porn style looked really cheap.
