When I decided to get a new blu ray player, Redemption's Pete Walker blu ray box sets were one of the reasons I recided to go multi region. Much as I want to support UK releases ( and always do ) I can't walt for Odeon to gradually drip feed the releases ( if they even do ) over the next ten years or whatever.

House of the Long Shadows was a childhood favourite of mine. A guy used to come round in a van with VHS for rent and I begged for it so many times he ended up just giving us a copy! I've recently watched House of Mortal Sin and enjoyed it although I did find it a bit slow. What would you guys recommend as my next PW film? I hear Frightmare is the best?

I recently watched The Flesh and Blood Show and really enjoyed that.

I've never been a huge Walker fan and stupidly sold the coffin box set that Anchor Bay released several years ago. Big mistake as i'm now slowly buying them back again.

Have you tried thre films of Norman J Warren? Another British director from the same era as Walker? Give Satan's Slave and Prey a go.

Do you think the UK will ever get the "strong export version" of Satan's Slave? I know that it was released on video by Intervision back in the analog days, but it's rarer than hen's teeth.

I really don't know. It was released by Screenbound again back in 2013. You'd have thought they'd have done it then.

It's not available anywhere is it?

FFS! Is that one totally uncut?

It's been out forever and a day. I didn't bother with it even when it was £6 from Amazon marketplace sellers.

Edit - Now i think on i know why i never bought it. Warren nor anyone else on the production liked the stronger scene and he personally dealt with the restoration / alternate sequence for the UK Anchor Bay box set. Meaning the UK release is the directors preferred cut which was fine by me.
