I did it the other way round, I dvd proofed the kids. All it takes is a pointed stick, a willingness to ignore their crying and the balls to sweat it out with social services.

I thought you would just read a book of spells and let your magic broomstick do all the sorting for you. Like in Fantasia. |

You've obviously not seen "Mickey the Lost Years" which follows his break up with Minnie and his decent into an alcoholic hell of cross dressing, rent mouse sleaze. |

Bit of free time today so I thought I'd have a go at sorting out my DVD cabinet, big mistake! I've almost completely run out of room and couldn't be bothered to put everything in any kind of order, I also had to make sure all my contraband titles, Cannibal Holocaust/Ferox/Apocalypse, HOTEOTP, Last House etc were hidden at the back away from my kids! Anyway, this is what I ended up doing, for now anyway as I've got more titles to come this week. P.S note my poor collection of BD's, late starter ImageUploadedByTapatalk1315748038.550370.jpg Violence is Italian Art

I have a bookcase/shelving unit for each genre - Action, Sci Fi, Animated, Comedy, Horror. And one for the classic films, directors like Scorsese, Coppola, Spielberg, Besson and titles like All the President's men, To Kill a Mockingbird and such. With the Horror though, it goes relatively chronological. Top row is Universal movies then 60s horror, The Exorcist and Romero's Dead cycle. Second row, masters like Carpenter, Craven, Cronenberg ...wow a lot of horror directors with surnames starting with 'C'. Then there's 80s movies including Stephen King adaptations. Then a row of comedy horror including the brilliant Bruce Campbell collection and yes, Bad Taste, Brain Dead and Frighteners. Next row are foreign horror starting with Italian, then Brazilian (Coffin Joe) and Japanese. Next couple of rows then are: Haunted House/ghost films and finally horror films from last ten years. Will have to get some pictures up.

My collection is organised alphabetically. But I am thinking about arranging by genre and subgenre. This would of course mean that I would have a very large zombie section and might make the other subgenres look a little silly though... I could always just buy more dvds...
