don't forget Candle for the Devil as well a very much underratted film imo.

Also Nacho Cerda is Spanish so brings Aftermath and The Abandoned to the Mix

recently watched School Killer a fairly recent slasher from Paul Naschy (RIP)

Aftermath is a weird flick.

I owned a copy of the limited edition double sided cover, also knew of the corpse edition. I needed some money so sold it on ebay for £30 when I paid £8 so was a good deal

I love a bit of Spanish

I'm mainly a fan of classic Spanish cinema, and have to admit that I haven't seen much of the new fare. Del Toro aside, I've probably only seen around a dozen or so 'modern' Spanish horror films.

My personal preferences in the genre are much of Naschy's (RIP) work (particular his Waldemar Daninsky Werewolf films), as well as De Ossorio's Blind Dead films. Classics of the genre IMO, and essential viewing to any fans of Spanish horror.

The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue and Horror Express (which I think maybe is a Spain/UK co-production), are two of my faves.

Two of my favourites too, Vampix. In fact Grau's The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue is one of my favourite zombie films of all time.

Favourite Spanish horrors would be;
THE BLIND DEAD films.
LET SLEEPING CORPSES LIE.

I should be watching The Nameless soon.
Heard a lot of good things about it.

And how could I fail to mention the superb Who Can Kill a Child? If you've not seen this, then do so - it's fantastic. A truly creepy and unsettling film that really spooked me. Well worth a look.

Candle for the Devil is a weird, but interesting little flick, and I agree with you alex - very underated.

Another (IMO) great Spanish horror is La Residencia: It's very giallo-like in style and execution.

Agreed. I was amazed to see Prunella Ransome in this. Genuinely creepy film.
