Oh, most definitely!

Yeah... The lack of Hammer films on BD is disturbing.

I'm (pretty) sure I have all the Hammer films released on BD so far:

The Man Who Could Cheat Death (along with Amicus' The Skull) (Legend, US)
Paranoiac! (Eureka, UK)
Quatermass and the Pit (Optimum / StudioCanal, UK)
Vampire Circus (Synapse, US)

(if I'm wrong: please feel free to correct me - even though my wallet will complain bitterly! )

I also hear that Synapse may be releasing Countess Dracula and Twins of Evil on Blu-ray in the not too distant future.

I'd really like to see The Devil Rides Out and The Plague of the Zombies hit BD, as they are personal favourites of mine.

I do wonder why the UK licensor of Vampire Circus insisted that Synapse lock their BD, as there's no UK BD forthcoming. What, we can't buy and watch the US BD because.....there's a UK DVD? Come on, whoever licensed the UK DVD should really think about putting it out on BD over here. Utter madness.

Might not have been the UK though as Koch released it in Germany.

Ah yes, I forgot about that release. Still, my point stands in relation to someone putting out a UK BD. The UK is the home of Hammer, it's surely fitting that UK folks should have access to these films on BD. Well, I think so, anyway, though the distributors seem to think otherwise...

I do know that Warner are working on at least one Hammer for BD, one of the Frankenstein titles I believe. At least that will be region-free (hopefully).

You would release these Reaps? I thought my trash tolerance was high, but those films take it to another level!
