By a stroke of luck I found a copy of the Blu-ray double bill in the dvd bin of a local discount shop. Paid all of $5 for it. |

I would recommend any of the Waldemar Daninsky films, with an exception of 'Fury of the wolfman' and 'Lycantropo' which are not too hot(still worth a watch though if you can find them),obviously Hunchback which is Spanish horror classic. Also I think 'Rojo Sangre' where he plays different historical villains is a modern classic, possible still available on a region 1 Fangoria imprint.I think?

Frankenstein's Bloody Terror (famous for having F.A to do with the Frankenstein monster) - Shriek Show And...if you can find a copy...Mondo Macabre's Dr Jekyll Vs the Werewolf (with exteriors filmed in 70s swinging London) - Paul Naschy in werewolf guise giving chase through a hospital wearing an outrageous polo-necked jumper is...a wonderful moment in Waldemar Danisnsky's hairy saga! Also...check out Paul Naschy's Memoirs of a Wolf-Man - published in 2000 by Midnight Marquee. |

The only Naschy I've seen is The Hanging Woman, and I thoroughly enjoyed it

Naschy films are a bit hit and miss for me, but he is brilliant in Rojo Sangre.

This Thead made me realise, I have never seen a Naschy film in my life.

Undeniably so and the PQ on Mondo Macabro's U.K. DVD is superb. A nice slice of Spanish schlock despite this release containing the 'clothed' version of the film. |
