But isn't that what this Board is all about, the helpfulness and exchange of information by other members. We all have to start somewhere with whichever director/film takes our fancy and as long as there are some informed opinions floating about then the choice is made that much easier.

The warning I would say to Naschy newbies is to make sure you start off with his better films. Pick the wrong one and you may never watch another one. However, watch a good one, like Horror Rises From the Tomb or Werewolf Shadow and get into his vibe then most of his films will become accesible. For example 'Crimson' is a pretty atrocious film, but if you are a confirmed Naschy fan you can enjoy it and have a whale of a time!
