my choice would be

Philosophy of a Knife
Black Sun- The Nanking Massacre

purely and simply because they are based on fact of what people carried out while "just doing their job"

I found "Fantacide" really interesting as it promotes itself as an attack on PC but really is a piece of right wing guff and very racist. The key scene that illustrates this for me, is when a couple of characters start discussing PC as a Marxist plot which is a classic piece of right wing paranoid thought. It was the soundtrack that illustrated the racism to me, all those lovely late 50s, early 60s pop homages about love worked really well and in favour of the film being a satire then one of the songs is just full of racism. Still, I didn't find the film offensive, more embarrassing as the makers really have as much political sense as the Liberals joining forces with the Tories.

For balance "Salo" is a good example of the left wing producing empty political statements. And don't even get me started on the 6th form liberal politics of Romero...

Two film that have actually disturbed me are:

"In A Glass Cage" with its images of child abuse/murder being filmed in an erotic manner rather than the sledgehammer approach of "August Underground's Mordum" that ultimately make the images in the film meaningless. I've watched "Mordum" a few times but I've never revisited "In A Glass Cage"

"Amateur Porn Star Killer" in which the killer/rapist spends the whole film slowly seducing the victim before killing her, off screen. I found the whole film very believable and realistic compared to other recent examples extreme cinema.

Serbian Film was kinda over hyped. I dont find anythin too shocking but Mordum is up there.
I can see why some people would be disturbed by Serbian film with the baby scene and the rape scene at the end.

The only films that offend me are ones that include genuine cruelty to animals.

Fake violence doesn't offend me at all.

Yup, that film was disturbing and really awesome.

I am hardly offended by movies - there are only three possible ways to offend me:
1) Director's who think I'm a total idiot and treat me like that, f.e. by showing flashbacks to stuff that happened 3 minutes ago, horrendous plot twists and explanations that are just plain idiotic and could never have worked if you think about them for just one secons.
2+3) Clearly racist and sexist messages conveyed throughout the movie. That's something I often see in comedies where it's obvious that they're trying to be funny but actually aren't. Some films make fun about this very well (Harold & Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay) but racism is something I really can't stand. And I'm not talking about the obvious stereotyping aka "drug dealer is black", "gangster is mexican" and stuff like that, the issues I'm talking about are way harder to spot but even more annoying when you encounter them.

Sadly, I don't have any examples up my sleeve as those are film I like to forget quickly
