I'd probably say something like Cannibal Holocaust, as I found the real life slaughtering of the giant turtle, muskrat, etc, very offensive! I still watch the film, I wouldn't show it to a non-horror fan though, they may think I'm sick just for owning it!

Haven't seen it yet but I guess it's acted,I would be more offended by something real.
Like the massive amount of (staged imho) animal slaughter in Africa Addio (director's cut).

just because they are both from Serbia this film has been lumped in alongside A Serbian Movie, I found it to be far more comparable to Emanuelle in America than ASM

Four weddings and a Funeral.
(Anything featuring moronic snobs, to be honest.)

Don't know why this film was hailed as something great. It irritated the s**t out of me.

I agree. It seemed very unnecessary and was hard to watch, in particular the turtle bit. I actually quite liked the film though so it was a shame for stuff like that to be included.

Like most people here, I'm not easily offended or disturbed so the only film that has made me physically flinch and think "That's not right" is the infamous scene with the turtle in Cannibal Holocaust. There were a couple of scenes of animal cruelty in Slave of the Cannibal God that left me feeling the same way.

That being said, I have yet to see A Serbian Film and am intrigued to find out what that has to offer.

Probably Cannibal Holocaust for me as well, or the PETA footage shown in the first three minutues of Uwe Boll's Seed. Nothing else has bothered me so far.

I didn't like that purely because I don't like seeing anything or anybody suffer in reality. Like most people on this forum, I enjoy horror movies and find little to get offended by as I'm knowing what I'm doing by watching the movie in the first place.

For the next bit of my post, I am flying a virtual banner that says;

"I am not attempting to insult anyone on this forum"

So please, no posts full of vitriol because I've had a pop at your favourite movie, therefore taking it personally.

Echoing earlier posts, I still cannot agree on A Serbian Film. Only the baby scene is unnecessary in my book, I don't mind the rest of the imagery within it. But I cannot understand the reverance which the movie receives. Take away the "shocking scenes" and what have you got? Not a lot. I don't buy into all this director generated garbage about the movie being a statement about the country. The film isn't intelligent enough to be an allegory on the choatic history that the country has endured. It'd be like saying that the Exorcist was a reply to the Vietnam war. Hang on....

Anyway, that said, I find vapid Hollywood blockbusters far more offensive. Don't mention the Star Wars prequels or Star Trek Generations! The Twiglights? Can't stand them. Pointless sequels and "comedies" do nothing for me either.

I've seen the August Underground stuff and the Guinea Pig movies. I can see why the movies would offend, I'd be stupid not to, but they're not real.
Coming across an execution video online a few years back reminded me the difference between a horror flick and actual footage of someone being killed. It's a totally different thing.
