You think it's difficult to change it? It looks easy enough (which doesn't mean it is of course). Or is there a limit to the amount of characters on one line? |

Wires crossed mate. I thought you meant you were gonna list every film that comes under those sub-sections! Sorry-tough day-I'll get me coat.....

Watched the Code Red dvd of Crispino's The Dead Are Alive yesterday... Armando Crispino made 2 gialli: - The Etruscan Kills Again aka The Dead Are Alive (1972) - Sun Spots aka The Victim aka Autopsy (1975) While The Dead Are Alive certainly is a decent giallo,it seems Crispino finally perfected his giallo skills 3 years later with Autopsy. Both are full of eye candy and weirdness but The Dead Are Alive just has a slightly weaker story/ending imo. It does have Samantha Eggar though... Code Red's transfer is decent, with a few bits of damage (reel changes),some specs and scratches (nothing too bad) and a missing sex scene (cut from the US release it seems). |

Ok,the new poll is up (big thanks to Stefan ). So start voting! Btw the poll is based on Mikel Koven's (author of La Dolce Morte) subdivisions of the giallo genre. "There are several different kinds of gialli....While the classical giallo features a serial killer clad in black gloves, hat, and overcoat being hunted by an amateur detective, the poliziotto puts the police investigation front and center in the investigation. Other gialli tend to focus on more private and interior settings, creating more of a suspense giallo. Still others, embracing the strong connection between the giallo and the horror film, offer a more supernatural narative, the giallo-fantastico. What we mean by giallo, then is quite a broad spectrum of films, despite their formulaic narratives" Last edited by bdc; 20th October 2010 at 09:15 PM. |

Finished listening to the commentary track on BU's Bird with the Crystal Plumage bd...rather lightweight and not really that interesting imho... Must be strange for US buyers to listen to 2 Brits commenting. Last edited by bdc; 22nd October 2010 at 12:34 PM. |

Anyone still looking for certain giallo dvd's? Maybe I can help out? I know someone who's selling part of his collection (don't have prices but I can ask). |

I'm buying a few on amazon tomorrow, but if you know of any going for maybe a bit cheaper? Mainly looking for Black Belly Of The Tarantula & Don't Torture A Duckling as I've heard they are good ones to get. |
